The AnteAGE MD® Biosome™ Accelerator is Step 2 of the AnteAGE system — a lightweight moisturizer packed with powerful actives designed to activate repair at the cellular level. Why it works
Bakuchiol — retinol's gentler alternative. Bakuchiol has been shown in peer-reviewed clinical studies to deliver retinol-comparable effects on fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and elasticity — without the irritation, photosensitivity, or pregnancy concerns of retinoids. For skin that can't tolerate retinol, bakuchiol is the closest alternative that actually works.
Stabilized Vitamin C + Vitamin E. Standard L-ascorbic acid oxidizes quickly in formulation. This formula uses a stable vitamin C derivative that stays active through the product's lifespan, paired with vitamin E for comprehensive lipid-soluble antioxidant defense. How to use
Apply twice daily, morning and night, as Step 2 after the Biosome Serum.
- Apply Biosome Serum (Step 1) to clean, dry skin and let absorb
- Dispense 1–2 pumps of Biosome Accelerator
- Massage gently into the face, neck, and décolletage
- Finish with SPF each morning
Pre-treatment use: Use daily for 2–4 weeks before professional procedures to prep skin for optimal recovery.
Post-procedure use: Safe to use following laser, microneedling, microdermabrasion, and other ablative or collagen-inducing treatments, as directed by your clinician.
The Accelerator can also be used alone as a standalone moisturizer for travel or minimalist routines.

FAQ
Do I need both the Serum and the Accelerator, or can I use just one? They work best together. The Serum initiates the repair signal at the cellular level; the Accelerator sustains it and adds the antioxidant and retinol-alternative layer. Using only one gives you part of the system's benefit — the full routine is Step 1 followed by Step 2, twice daily.
Is bakuchiol really as effective as retinol? A 2018 peer-reviewed clinical study published in the British Journal of Dermatology showed bakuchiol and retinol produced comparable improvements in wrinkle surface area and hyperpigmentation over 12 weeks — with significantly less scaling and stinging in the bakuchiol group. It's not marketing language; it's a real alternative for people who can't tolerate retinoids.
Can I use it during pregnancy? Bakuchiol is generally considered a safer alternative to retinol during pregnancy. However, always consult your OB-GYN before changing your skincare routine during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Will it work over my existing moisturizer? The Accelerator is already a lightweight hydrator. Most users don't need an additional moisturizer on top. If your skin is very dry, you can layer a heavier moisturizer (like the AnteAGE Moisturizer) over the Accelerator as Step 3.
