Description

Now available from AnteAGE Shop — the official authorized distributor of AnteAGE® products in the UAE, Qatar, and Oman.

The AnteAGE MD® Biosome™ Brightener contains comprehensive ingredients to brighten the skin and reveal a glowing, healthy complexion. Tranexamic acid, engineered peptides, and growth factors combine with biomimetic exosomes to fade discoloration without drying or irritating the skin.

What it doesn't use is equally important: no hydroquinone, no kojic acid at irritating levels, no aggressive acids, no steroids. This is a gentler clinical approach to brightening — one you can stay on long-term without the rebound pigmentation, sensitization, or barrier damage that come with harsher protocols.

AnteAGE MD® Biosome™ Brightener can be used daily alongside any other AnteAGE MD® product and performs especially well in post-treatment scenarios.

Why it works

Tranexamic acid. Originally developed as a hemostatic agent, tranexamic acid has become one of the most clinically validated ingredients for treating melasma over the past decade. Topically, it inhibits the UV-induced pathway that triggers melanocyte activation. Unlike hydroquinone, it doesn't destroy melanocytes — it quiets the signal telling them to produce more pigment.

Growth factors for barrier and tone. Hyperpigmentation usually travels with compromised barrier function — either as the cause (PIH from acne or irritation) or the consequence (over-exfoliation from trying to fade it). The Biosomes plus growth factor layer rebuilds barrier integrity while the tranexamic acid works on pigment, breaking the cycle that keeps most brightening routines stuck.

Engineered peptides. Specific peptides in the formula target melanogenesis through mechanisms that complement tranexamic acid — multiple pathways, not just one. This is why most users see meaningful results at 8–12 weeks where single-active products plateau.

Niacinamide. A secondary brightener that reduces melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes, evening tone while supporting barrier function.

Benefits

  • Fades melasma, age spots, sun spots, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH)
  • Tranexamic acid inhibits melanocyte activation at the trigger point
  • Biosome-delivered growth factors rebuild barrier function
  • Engineered peptides target multiple pigmentation pathways
  • No hydroquinone, no steroids, no harsh acids — safe for long-term daily use
  • Safe for use after laser, microneedling, or chemical peels
  • Gel-cream texture layers cleanly under SPF and makeup
  • All skin types, all ages

How to use

Apply once or twice daily — morning and/or night — after Serum and Accelerator.

  1. Cleanse with AnteAGE MD Cleanser
  2. Apply Biosome Serum (Step 1)
  3. Apply Biosome Accelerator (Step 2)
  4. Apply a thin layer of Biosome Brightener to areas of pigmentation or all over the face
  5. In the morning, finish with broad-spectrum SPF — non-negotiable for any brightening routine

Expected timeline: Visible improvement in overall tone at 4–6 weeks. Discrete spots respond in 8–12 weeks. Melasma is a multi-month commitment — budget 3–6 months of consistent use for significant change.

Post-procedure use: Begin use once the skin has fully healed from laser, microneedling, or chemical peels (typically 7–14 days post-treatment, follow your clinician's guidance).

Key ingredients

  • Tranexamic Acid — The primary tyrosinase-inhibiting active. Clinically validated for melasma and hyperpigmentation.
  • Biosomes™ — Biomimetic lipid delivery system for growth factors and peptides.
  • Engineered Peptides (sh-Polypeptide series) — Target multiple steps of melanogenesis.
  • Niacinamide — Secondary brightener; reduces melanosome transfer.
  • Human Bone Marrow Stem Cell Conditioned Media — Barrier-rebuilding signaling proteins.
  • Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) — Stabilized vitamin C for antioxidant and brightening support.
  • Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) — Antioxidant that works synergistically with vitamin C.

FAQ

How is this different from hydroquinone? Hydroquinone works by destroying melanocytes — effective but disruptive, with risk of rebound pigmentation when you stop, and not recommended for long-term use. Tranexamic acid quiets the signal that activates melanocytes, without damaging them. Slower to show results (weeks instead of days), but safer for extended use and better suited to maintenance.

Can I use it with vitamin C or niacinamide? Yes. Niacinamide is already in the formula at meaningful levels. You can layer an additional vitamin C serum in the morning if desired — the combination is well-tolerated and addresses pigmentation through complementary pathways.

Is it safe during pregnancy? Tranexamic acid is considered low-risk topically, but melasma that develops during pregnancy (chloasma) often improves on its own postpartum. Most dermatologists recommend pausing active brightening treatments during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your OB-GYN.

How quickly will I see results? Most users see visible tone improvement at 4–6 weeks. Discrete spots and PIH respond at 8–12 weeks. Melasma is slower — plan for 3–6 months of consistent use plus disciplined SPF for significant change.

Do I have to use SPF? Yes. Non-negotiable. UV exposure reactivates the melanocyte pathways this product is designed to calm. Using a brightener without SPF is counterproductive. Use broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily, rain or shine, indoors or out.

Can I use it on active acne or broken skin? Wait until active breakouts or broken skin have healed before applying the Brightener. For post-acne pigmentation (PIH), the Brightener is one of the best options to fade dark marks without irritating the area.

Is it authentic AnteAGE? Yes. AnteAGE Shop is the official authorized distributor of AnteAGE® and AnteAGE MD® products across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. All products are sourced directly from Cellese, Inc. in the USA.
